I have had comments made to me by clients about the size of photos on profiles, does Adultwork not limit the size of a photo people can upload?
Looking through profiles just now I clicked open an image and on loading it crashed my computer, although I have 4gb of ram memory it could not cope with the extra load. I rebooted and then took a look at the profile with no other applications open.
The main photo on the profile was a massive 4,000 x 3,000 pixels in size and over 100mb - My screen size is 1360 x 768, so it was about 3 times the width of my monitor. What is the point of uploading a photo that size? Do people not think about the person viewing the photo? Do they not check it themselves? But then you often see profiles with photos that have not been corrected so they are the wrong orientation.
I reduce all my photos to about 600 pixels wide so that it is a decent size for the average computer screen and more than large enough to see the photo properly
How do people with small 15 inch laptops or tablets cope with this
