2 glasses of wine and I'd be roaring in the aisles! I never drank and drove - and not driving now!
Jayzee, don't take Digger on, he's messing with our heads! He is the most careful driver I've ever met!

I agree with you Ann, definitely no alcohol before going infront of the wheel for you and about 12 hours sleep too.

I would have no use for a pill like this as I very rarely drink if at all

Funny you should say that, I didn't sleep at all last night! It rarely happens, but it's bloomin' annoying. I feel I ought to be asleep, so I stay in bed - so I don't actually do anything useful with the time!

When you are on your own, as I have been for well over 12 years now. Some times you just want to relax, enjoy yourself and indulge a little. As I said before, it's not about getting drunk, it's about enjoying the taste.
I am a worrier anyway, so rarely take any risks. If I know I'm going out at 8pm and not expecting to go home until 12pm, then I'm fairly safe with having one drink. Most if not all of the alcohol will be out of my system by the time I leave and I always have the first drink as the alcohol drink, to give it that time and I never rush it. I have been stopped by the police once after using this method. I was on the motorway, something like 2am in the morning and going a wee bit too fast. They asked me if I had a drink and I said I had earlier on in the evening. I had 2 very small glasses of red wine. It didn't even register on their machine, so I was totally sober.
The problem is that no two people are the same, what works for me, may not work for another person and get the same result. You have to know what your limits are and abide by them. The stupid people that take risks are the ones that let the rest of us down and risk lives and I can assure you, I am not a risk taker or someone who takes life lightly. I'm lucky to be here at all.
There is always an alternative - if you want to drink, and havent got someone to drive, ie you are on your own, just order a taxi. It might be expensive but at least you can drink as much as you want.

On the other hand, it is the perfect way to counter your drink being spiked with alcohol.

You're talking to a lady who until she started Escorting went out once in a blue moon, had half a cider and spent the rest of the night on Lime and soda water (20p) due to having no money. If I had done that, I would not have gone out at all. I think on average I take a taxi, maybe once a year? And that's sharing with others at the end of the night.
I have walked home on occassion, but I think that is a health hazzard too these days and sometimes I park the vehicle in a place where I know I can pick it up the next day without incurring a fine. It really depends on the reason for going out and if I really want to drink or not, but I'm not a huge drinker, so...

Kate you should definately not walk home. Even though the chances of something happing is probably fairly remote. I would hate for something to happen to you

I wouldn't do it now Freddo. I've taken more taxi's since I have been Escorting than in my entire life time (like maybe 4!) lol. Seriously now I do have options I did not have before, I've even bought the odd round for my friends and you can not imagine how that makes me feel. I am a giver by nature, so having to say no to rounds continually and never put my hand in my pocket, used to kill me. This is one of the reasons that I rarely went out.
