timekeeping

When at work, I always ensure proper time keeping for appointment. Yet it is still surprising how few people are on time. The best I had was one guy who came to see me 24 hours after he was meant to be there - confusion over the day he reckoned; ignorant I reckoned!!

Monty you are so right. Most people at work now have in the least a PC with Outlook on which has a calendar function which does reminders. Most of my colleagues and the people I know who work in the same circles have I phones/Blackberry's/Smart phones which link into Outlook or similar - it is so easy to set up reminders and appointments there really is no excuse now.

Outlook ?????????????? ROFL. Thats the best laugh I've had today. Until tonight I'd never heard of anyone using that. My 'outlook' is, if i remember something then that is good, if i forget it, it wasnt worth remembering in the first place. Am I disorganised. No. I generally remember all appointments and bookings. Even if I have got the memory span of a goldfish.

Contact me on 07591889797 for any details of services.

Not 15 mins early - esp if they have been told i have a prior booking - and not 15 mins late. Ok we can run over a little but im one for being punctual. If I'm early for an appointment I wouldnt expect to be taken early - nice if it happens but happens very rarely.

I was always told to be 10mins early for any appointment, it is the only way to ensure you aren't late.

If you have another booking then obviously you don't answer the phone!

If you are ready too, then it means you have an opportunity to finish a few minutes early, and if it's your last booking of the day means you can knock off early too, which is always nice whatever your occupation.

I have a terrible memory due to having had a brain virus many moons ago. It's mostly for things like names, things I have read and dates, times etc. I have to write everything down and then hope to God I don't forget where I wrote it and to check regularly. Sometimes I do get so engrossed in what I am doing at the time, that I do forget to check, or I forget where I have put something and then unable to check.

I tend to prioritise things, ie my Escorting is important, so I check that alot to ensure I don't let someone down, but then I will forget things like dental appointments and as a couple of weeks ago, my speed awareness meeting, which nearly cost me another £80. I've got to attend Jury service this month and I'm now petrified I will forget to do that. I really should use technology a bit more to try and help me remember things, but I can never remember how to use things either and I am continually having to re-educate myself, which again takes time.

I spend a lot of my time in a state of frustration and sadly it's not always sexual frustration.

Kate, even the most simple of phones these days have a calendar feature. Just put things like jury service in there and tell it to remind you the day before

I keep forgetting I can do that MrSmiths. I've just added the two most important things to one of my phones and will add it to the other too, just in case. I need someone to remind me that I can do that as well though lol.
