Help with getting "Featured"

Hiya
I have finally decided to try webcaming and have only just yesterday made my adultwork account. I'm struggling a bit with trying to figure everything out, and so would love a bit of help and advice please!!!
I can see that you can get featured on the homepage by bidding in the auction, but how do you get featured on the listings page? Is that also 50 pound or something? Theres like 100 names there and so it just seems really expensive!!!
Also want to know how many other things you have to pay for? It all just seems very expensive and Iwant to make money and not pay money all the time. Pleas help or give me some advice please!

My advice would be to forget featuring etc untill you have cammed for a bit and got used to that first. Being new you will attract customers quite quickly, they love new girls! lol Just be aware some will try to scam you just because you are new they assume you are clueless. If you really want to feature your profile I would go for positioning instead, that assuming you will be offering Direct Cam too? I have never "featured" my profile and I do fine without it. I hate paying for anything lol. I occassionally pay for positioning just even that is rare x

I have never featured or positioned my profile and I do fine without, like Hornygirl I don't pay for anything, just earn it!
There are ways to get your profile spotted without paying, post a blog, add new photos or movie clips, put something on the directcam show schedule, add erotica. Timing can be key though, to get your content scrolled across the home page at a busy time!

My profile is featured today, I paid 13 credits earlier in the week (it's cheaper to do it in advance) and sometimes I position paying 0.50 which always gets me on front page. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. To appear on the 'available today' escort listings costs about 5 credits for the day, and 1 credit per day to have your phone number displayed on your profile.

I agree with not paying for featuring when you're new because you will be fresh meat the guys will love it!
I only ever really pay to feature the phone chat because its only like 1.80
