Advice required - potential no show coming up
#1
Hi all, first time posting here as sadly this experience has been potentially my worse experience on this site so I'm here looking for advice.

Without mentioning names I emailed an escort last Wednesday regarding an incall that is due to take place tomorrow at 1pm. She requested that in order to secure the booking that a 50% deposit was bank transferred to her to secure the booking to which I agreed (money not really an issue here although I know I have no protection except potentially taking her to small claims court or even report her to police for fraud).

I only sent the money after the booking was accepted as some form of protection for myself and all went through OK. Then the problems have begun, I requested an address that I need to go to of which there have been (in my opinion) of various delay tactics of driving so can't reply, traffic so can't reply, getting a new sim card so wanted to call me off the new number, then telling me she'd call me today. So far still no response giving me an address or contact number, but countless emails on the aw system confirming that the booking is still on.

Obviously all could be absolutely fine and she calls me tomorrow but one thing I noticed in the android app was one of my mails was unread with deleted next to it. To me I assume that she has deleted it without reading it.

I will also update this thread if anything changes tomorrow but I am starting to fear the worse.

A few pointers I would like if possible are below.

Was I right in assuming that the email with the deleted comment is her deleting it?

I do have the booking confirmed and obviously intend on providing poor feedback if I get stood up but is there anything further aw could provide if I pursue the police fraud route or would they talk to the police if they had the information requested?

Any further tips would be appreciated.

The way I operate is thusly:

*Appointment is verbally agreed to
*Client then pays deposit to my bank account before appointment is due to take place
*On the day of appointment client calls two hours before scheduled time for postcode and instruction on where to park.
*Five minutes before appointment, client then calls again and is given verbal directions to the door.

There is really no need for her to be giving out her location days before an appointment is due to take place. Only a few days ago I had someone pay his deposit and was given the postcode. Then followed a bunch of texts saying he was stuck in traffic but still on his way. He never did arrive, and he was never given my exact location either, which is just as well as he had no intention to arrive. He pulled the same stunt with another Mistress in the area. These types are known as 'address collectors' and a very real stalking threat. This is why you are not being given her location at this point.

If she has enough credible feedback and a good reputation on AW you should have nothing to worry about.

Hi Ana,

Many thanks for the reply, potentially she does operate like you but may I ask at what point you give your clients a contact number? With regards to the feedback she currently has none which is why my radar just seems to be picking this up as a scam to pick up some deposits.

That said I do agree with you on the 'address stalkers' so could understand her protecting against that, but it is her messages that say she is going to be doing things and taking actions that she has so far failed to do on each occasion.

All in all though I hope she comes through like you do as she does tick all the boxes.

Ana,

Something else if you can possibly help. With regards to the confirmed booking are you able to cancel / delete it on your end? Also assuming I give bad feedback can she hide it from view?

My contact number is listed on my profile for everyone to see, they have it from the moment they find the page. Paying a deposit to someone with no feedback is obviously a risk, as nobody else has left feedback for her vouching for her process. Did you google her to see if she has a website or reviews left by genuine others, or any credibility that she's established and not messing around? If no such info exists it could be she's completely new to it all, so she may be genuine but in those early days it takes time to finesse communication skills.

Bookings can be cancelled and deleted, yes. Check your booking page to see if the status of your request has changed. If not, then it's still going ahead.

Bad feedback can't be individually hidden.

I really do hope that everything goes well for you, but I do feel that your fears are in good reason.

A 50% deposit is a little steep and very risky for a punter to be giving a girl they do not know.

How would you take her to the small claims court if you do not have her address?

I am unsure why you think that you had some sort of protection because she accepted the booking.

If your message has been deleted without being read it could also mean that she has blocked you, if you are blocked the system will automatically show your message as being deleted without being read.

You intend to give her poor feedback, unfortunately this is not going to help you and it is easy for her to set up a new profile.

Does she already have feedback? Ana already asked but you did not respond with an answer (most frustrating when people are trying to help you).

I am not sure if the police would get involved, you can try, if she is a scammer, then chance is that she is relying on guys not going to the police as they would feel ashamed, stupid or not want the wife to know what they had been up to.

I always either have my phone number on my profile, and/or provide the phone number at time of booking. I've had times in the past where clients haven't made a note, then can't log in or a myriad of other things happen which mean that they can't find my number.

When taking deposits for incalls then I'll usually provide location details - if someone wants to pay £40 (deposit for my shortest appointment), to obtain my address then more fool them.

At the moment I work mainly outcall only, incalls are pre-planned hotel days usually booked by previous, long-term regulars. Before accepting a deposit I need the exact address, for me it's a commitment.

All this faffing doesn't seem very professional, and is why I always lay out my booking procedure so everyone knows what's happening.

You've not been given that so are at her mercy.

You could try small claims court, but I'd say that your money is lost - small claims also can cost just as much in time, and expenses to reclaim the money. If she doesn't go through with the booking, leave her feedback saying so and put warnings up on forums.

This sort of shit is ridiculous. We always hear how vulnerable a working girl is. It's the punter too with so many baits and scams

As are one line meaningless messages...

Had you ever thought that taking an extra 2/3 minutes to write something more worthwhile would  enhance your point of view?
