I am wanting to know, who is actually paying VAT? I notice on my last 2 transfer request there was a little icon beside them and when I clicked it basically broke down the admin fees and the VAT. Is the site taking money upon transfer of credits and then paying the VAT, or are we, the models, paying VAT.
Hopefully I explained this properly...

YOU are paying VAT on the service that AW pays you
So instead of paying AW 30% as you used to, AW is taking 30% + VAT (20%) = 36%

So it is AW themselves paying the VAT (although they are getting it from customers/sellers)?
Thanks for the reply x

They should also refund you what you've paid since October 1st x
That applies to a business that makes over a certain (high )amount though, doesn t it ?
Me and my small business venture are nowhere near the threshold for VAT. I have my unique tax number but am thousands away from the VAT threshold

No, you are a business as a self employed camgirl. You're getting confused with the 'VAT threshold which is an amount someone can earn (82k) before they need to register to pay VAT. The VAT AW are charging you on the admin fee is because THEY are liable to pay vat, it has nothing to do with you. Put your self employment details (hmrc tax number, ni details etc) and id in on the page I linked above x
