Hi lasses

I'm just wondering if the adultwork notifier is working now..i downloaded it but still don't get email or booking notices
i have got used to keeping checking my inbox when i can but if its working again that would be brilliant

Aye must still be down and not fixed yet then
just the option to download notifier on your emails is there so i assumed it was fixed

I've just downloaded it (after first installing Adobe Air per the instructions), but I'm finding it doesn't work for me either! I'm thinking that it's something to do with it being compatible with Windows 7, but not Windows 8.1 (my current operating system). Hopefully there's some sort of upgrade in the works?

As far as I can remember the notifier was bought by yahoo and AW were looking to find an alternative. It was a long time ago and I don't know why AW still suggest downloading it. So no it doesn't work anymore. Shame as it was very good. I'll see if I can find the info, sure there was something in the help section.

Ok I found the info which was first published in 2013 then updated last year. Oh it was AOL not yahoo. If you go to the help section under escorting, booking, notifications etc it's in there. Using my phone atm and can't link/copy and paste lol

Damn....it was a brilliant little program ,got emails and bookings straight away, now I don't know about emails till I.log on for my shifts...oh well hope they find a replacement program soon

Thanks for the info! Yeah, you're right...they should put a message on the download page about this, or come with an alternative to it!

If you go to their HELP section and input 'adultwork notifier' into the search filed, one of the topics it comes up with is this:

"AdultWork Notifier not working Updated 17/04/2014

25/09/2013: We are aware that the AdultWork.com Notifier has stopped working and we are looking to replace this with another similar product.

The company that provided the application has been bought by AOL and subsequently wound up.

We understand the implications of losing this vital desktop notification functionality and will look to replace it ASAP.

In the meantime, thank you for your patience and apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Updated 17/04/2014 : We are working on a brand new version of the notifier and it will be available to download in the next couple of weeks."
