There was a place in Oxford years ago called Go Dutch. It served savoury dutch pancakes - as big and thick as pizzas. They had savoury toppings then you smothered them in maple syrup. Delicious! Had one in Holland after that experience and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten!

mmmm. The other thing is piggy pudding. Gingernuts dipped in alcohol layered with whipped cream and left to steep in the fridge for a few hours. Yum!

Yum yum haggis. Ginger nuts sound interesting, maybe you should make one for the party so we can all try it! Which alcohol do they go with best?

Malibu is the nicest. The coconut and ginger seem to go well together.
