Do men get much work from being a male escort and web caming
#11
An old client phoned me asking a similar question, he's thinking of joining a different site when I mentioned AW he said he wasn't online at the moment, didn't have a pc and wondered if I'd take some photos for a profile on a directory. At the time I wasn't prepared to put the work in, although he did say he'd pay me for my time and on second thought perhaps it wouldn't have hurt to have helped him out.

I don't like people wasting their time though and he is only offering straight services to women, so I was honest and said I didn't think he'd get much interest. He said just one booking a month would be enough for him, he'd been told he could charge around £85 per hour but seemed clueless on how to screen clients. As well as advising him to let someone know whenever he was seeing a client, or certainly to check and leave the address if going on an outcall I also told him to remember £85 may sound like a princely sum for 1 hour of work, but if he spent £20 on petrol/travel getting there then his profit is starting to not look quiet as attractive. Advertising, answering enquiries, dealing with cancellations and TWs for a net profit of £65 (remember there's advertising and sundries to come out of this yet too) might not seem like it's worth the hassle.

Over the years I've been approached and asked for advice by several guys, none have come back to tell me they've made a success. Many wanted to know why they weren't getting many views, and once person well the last time I looked he was offering his services for free.

I think you might get the odd free, or low cost shag but there's not that much if any money to be made straight escorting, and you have to remember to look after yourself. Many men think because they are men they are safe, remember you could be sent to an address just for a laugh by a group of blokes who want to point and stare - you need to screen just as carefully as a female SP does(or should do because not all SPs are conscientious in this).

Athletic, elegant, lingerie, kink and fetish indulger. Webcam, Chat, outcall focused to homes or hotels in the Barrow-in-furness, South Lakes area and beyond

It would really depend on if he wanted you to be in the photos or not. I am not any good with a camera so would have to tell them that, but if they were happy to go ahead with it then it would be an hour escort booking and a bit of fun as well.

As a male escort for women, most guys are just after a shag, so how much money they make would not really matter, you see many of them offering "First booking for FREE". Screening clients also would probably not be a big issue for men visiting women or even couples, but being aware of the situation you are getting yourself into is the first rule of survival for anybody, certainly making sure there was a female involved from the start if you are not into gay sex.

But.... Don't give up your day job!

Trinity Belle has , as ever, hit the nail on the head here. Unless you are gay, then, as I see it, there tends to be limited use for a male service provider. Just check out the number of guys on AW offering this service and their feedbacks - usually nil. As part of a couple, then that is different. I have seen couples and it has been great, but guys going solo tread a long and difficult path with poor earnings and seemingly little interest from ladies who can get sex when they want it, whether they are being paid or not. Just my thoughts anyway. I once entertained the thought of offering myself as an escort, thought about it, then turned over and went back to sleep..................I feel if I offered a service all I would get is laughs !!

They don't have to be gay, just aware of the fact that they WILL have to cater to the gay market, because those are the only ones who will be interested in them. And also that gay camming is not as popular as straight as gay men generally want to hook up and are not interested in spending money on cams for the most part. Assuming he gets over himself and does manage to get an audience on cam, the new "camboy" will also have to wise up to the fact that to cut it he will need to be able to 'perform', consistently and spectacularly, or be extremely good looking to keep their interest.

Really unless you have a porn past or are well known through some other efforts, you will not make any money through male camming.

There's a couple of men who do quite well on Adultwork....Badboi is one of them, hes quite new and he seems to be in group or private every time I look...Sexyclarkent is another one...There's a lot less market for men than women, but the few that put the work in do ok from the looks of things x
