Use of your pictures

I just got an email from a punter saying someone has put up a profile on AW and used one of my pics!
My pic is their first pic on the profile. For heaven's sake. It is defo a fake profile. I have reported it.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Is there a way of monitoring your photos?

God I hate the fake profiles as far as I am aware no one has used my photos but it would be really useful if anyone new how to monitor them.

There is a piece of software called Tineye which can be used to search for duplicate photos across the internet they are always increasing their database of photos.
There is another one (I'll have to look up the name) a website where you type in the text of your profile and can see if it has been plagiarised anywhere.
Another way to circumvent them is to watermark all your pictures with your AW profile name, or your websites address, it discourages them being used elsewhere, and if someone is stupid enough to use them they are giving you free advertising.
Other than that, you need some vigilant regulars and friends who can keep an eye out for you, and report anyone who uses your pictures.

Thanks Brad. I did a search of my photo and it didn't come up. I use it on quite a few escorting sites. Does that mean my photo isn't important enough?

I would never say you aren't important enough.

It just means that they haven't indexed a website that has your picture on it.

I'm told someone from my area has created a profile name almost identical to mine and is attempting to gain work through my reputation. Apparently they are in their early 20s so I would hope someone might notice the difference, unless of course I look that young? Ok, maybe not lol.
