High chance the members dont have access to their accounts, dont know what site they are working on and dont really know how much they are making.

The person who runs the group will advertise on places like backpage and gumtree to gain members.

Its probably the most common type of scam group/studio on Adultwork at the moment.

Yes these things do happen, but that accusation could be thrown at anybody. I do not think it is right for somebody just to post an accusation and not back it up with anything.

Yip, the first post appears to be asking our opinion on what we think of the group, it highlights what a scam group may look like.

Innocent until proven guilty etc so no-one saying they are a scam (apart from BS who may have inside info or more likely worded their reply slightly incorrectly) but they certainly have the characteristics of a scam group

Yes I mentioned it bc they are like for like clone of other scam groups that have been discussed here.not only are the girls in these groups being horribly used, but they are hoodwinking guys who believe they are talking to and sharing with a fully independent model, who gets a good cut of money and is in full control and awareness of what she' doing. Those same guys avoid the romanian studios etc bc they do not want to be any part of exploitation... Then they go and pay good money (they are all charging above the £2.5 mark!} when in reality 60% of his money is going into the grubby hands of these modern day pimps.. Right here on our home turf!!

The signs of these groups are easy to spot and they need stamping out!

The guys pay for a service and, from the feedback seem to be happy with the service

I am presuming that the girls are doing the job willingly, not being forced / coerced to work

So if it is a "Scam" who is it they are scamming?

The group manager is scamming the girls - he advertises for "good looking girls for promotions work", offers £200 a day or thereabouts, puts the girls (who usually have never done anything like this before) on an adult website they don't know the name of, or who is likely to see them, keeps all the profile settings to himself so they can't change their rates, see what they are charging, read emails, or in any other way communicate with anyone other than him. He charges £2.50 - £3.50 per minute, after aw's cut, keeps at least 60% for himself, and only pays the girls "if he feels like it". Once they realize they can do better on their own, get recognised by someone they know, or otherwise become wise to his game, he dumps them and freezes their pay.

The girls are "hoodwinking" the guys paying for the reasons i listed above - he picks a girl he likes the look and sound of, and may often choose a specifically UK girl because he thinks she is less likely to be part of an exploitative studio. But, when he gets into private he finds that she is not the girl in the pictures, or she is sitting watching tv and ignoring him, or is shy and giggly, not offering the services her profile says she does. He has wasted his money, and leaves with a very bad impression of adultwork, perhaps not coming back.. perhaps writing yet another "why adult work is the worst site in the world" post on some popular forum somewhere!

I do not know 100% that this particular group IS one like i mention.. but it looks very likely considering the prices, lack of feedback and pictures on profiles (another trick is simply reusing profiles of girls the studio "pimp" has dumped), and wording on the pages.

These type of groups bring the whole site down and are ruining it for the genuine girls and group managers out there.
