From a punters point of view.
Fake profiles do make me think whats the point of trawling through so many false profiles, when I can just pop into my local parlour and select someone who is available.

Its not about the money, its the time factor of finding someone, trying to set up a booking, and when you get there hope that most of the details they said was correct.

Yes AW has a lot of iffy profiles and dodgy service providers, but some of them are brilliant.

If you really think that popping down to your local parlour is comparable with arranging a night out with an escort who elevates the craft to an art form, then you are missing the point somewhat.

AW is still the biggest and most useful site in my view. Years ago we didn't have the internet and people relied on cards in phone boxes. In fact you wouldn't be here having this conversation.
