i keep my phone switched on & with me at all times but, what annoys me someone ringing then 2 sec later ring again then again, or jem like u expect a response within 5 mins of their text

I am guessing that you mean to make a booking, not when you are waiting outside for them to answer the phone.
If a lady wants to phone me back then I will answer the phone but would probably not want her to phone back after a hour
Because I would be trying to arrange something else or just given up


I usually do not phone of the cuff but if I do I try to give them at least half an hour before I might try again, I will only try someone two or three times max as I know if they do not answer in a hour and a half that they are probably working or not interested
If someones phone is switched off I would only try after another half an hour has elapsed if they do not answer then I do not try again.
I leave a voicemail if the phone accepts incoming voicemails
But most of the time I arrange things by E mail

i think there is a bit of a generational thing here - personally i would wait for half a day or so often or at least an hour if it was about something happening that day.

But many younger people seem to take it as a personal affront if you don't immeadiatly reply to a text, and will just text time after time if they get no reply. I don't quite understand this - but it does seem to be one of those things that divides generations.

i was referring to a generality above rhter than calls to escorts. But if generally you are used to texting till you get a reply you would see this as no different to any other text.

Generally, I thought the idea of a text meant it was not important or you would have called, so it can be answered at any time. If it is a set time then you would ring the person to speak with them. Sometimes a text can go noticed / unheard, as can a missed call if you do not constantly check your phone

Text is also a method to contact people if they have a bad signal, a text will get to them quicker

But you are right monty some guys do think we're sitting there coat on ready to step into our futuristic transporters and zoom to there door in 5 minutes lol (I only do outcalls and you always wait for the silent pause when you tell them how long it will take you to get there location lol)

I had one like that tonight Jem. I said it would take over an hour for me to get ready and get to him...... he didn't like that! I can't believe they expect us to be sitting around in our skimpies ready to teleport out at a moments notice, and be dewy fresh and clean, and perfectly coiffed.

I would never taxt a lady unless she specifically asked me to do so (fecknig useless at texting!) and so would only call - Sarah, that is what I meant on the 48 hour timeframe above.

When I call, if I can leave a message, I do so - if the phone rings and rings, I take the hint and dont call again. If the phone is engaged or doesnt connect I will try again a few times.

At the end of the day, if I cant get through, then I move onto the next number (as most of the time, it is short notice bookings I go for) until I get a result. If none answer, then i go without!!!

I only put my thoughts and the way I work Monty, I know that others work in different way and that is a big problem as there is no right or wrong way it is just the way people do things.

Some punters can get funny with girls if they do not operate the same way as other girls, but we are all individuals and do things our own way. JRC on another forum is always running down girls because they do not operate how he thinks they should. he does not seem to think that we all have a choice in the way we work

I say do what suits you and yes you are right about moving on, have a selection of numbers go through them until you get result, unless you really want to see a girl then you have to wait.

im not always able to answer calls thats why i do prefer a text, so my phone may ring & ring but it isnt a hint that i dont want to be contacted, if im driving i never hear it ring have my music too loud lol
