Hi
I have been on aw for three years and since feb on webcam everyday - I use a microsoft hd webcam with incorprated microphone, i believe i have all the settings correct on just cam however on a regular daily basis just cam drops out and messages like - cannot connect to server etc - also told several times by viewers that occassionally cam freezes, audio crackly
I really want to have the best use of just cam as webcam 80% of the time on aw site
would it be worth purchasing the one suggest on just cam help - logic hd pro webcam c910 ?
Please advise
regards
anna

hi anna
i don't understand much about cameras all i know is that i use a logitech and works fine , my personal opinion is when you get that message " - cannot connect to server" i believe that is a internet connection issue, i use to get that all the time before i had fibre optic, also cam freeze can be related to internet connection too.

This actually may not be your fault as it's been happening to alot of us the last week or so. I am getting girls every day coming into my freeview box asking if I am also experiencing this which I am. I tried to tel AW about it but got the usual blank response.
I am not having trouble camming anywhere else either

The disconnection issue is something many of us are getting lately with justcamit...think it started a week ago for me but camming Friday was ok.

I agree dont go out and buy the most expensive cam possible
1) if its too powerful for you internet connection you will actually lose service
2) When I chose my Logictech cam and compared the range the only difference between mine and the more expensive models was the quality in megapixels when using your cam to take still photos (which I dont do0. The webcamming qualities did not change.
I got mine cheaper on ebay and paid around £36. I still had to turn off the "right light" setting as it was strangling my cams performance.
I am looking forward to moving in June when I will have fibre optic broadband... ooh exciting lol
There is def problems at the moment, who's to blame doesn't matter but there is too many of us experiencing the same thing for it to be individual problems

Justcamit is still randomly disconnecting...
I've discovered that my new Logitech c920 needs my bandwith setting above the suggested 250kbps...I have upload to play with so am now using at 1mbps and it's finally a good picture with no fuzziness or lagging.
