having a total blonde moment its been that long since i used a train
can someone tell me what the off peak times are as i keep getting conflicting information

It depends on the line and service Lolo - but just go to the BR website and the link to find a service - if you press the link for prices from there it will show you the times and prices on all the trains going to where you want to go.

Have you tried the trainline, or East Coast trains. You pick a price bracket box, it shows you the trains during the day in that bracket.

I used to use gner a lot when I first moved to halifax as I was still working 2 days up north and found strangely enough that the ticket prices were cheaper at times when you would think would be dearer round about rush hour tea time
